Sakai Kunie, Dark Eyes
Well, I've taken a small step into the world of shoujo. A very small step... eight pages. This is a mini oneshot called "Dark Eyes" from the manga, The Imaginary Garden, by Sakai Kunie. If you're thinking the name "Sakai Kunie" sounds a lot like "Kunieda Saika," well, that's because they are the same person. ^__^

That's exactly what i thought when i saw "sakai kunie" on that shojo-esque manga I read the other day! I so glad i'm not hallucinating! well, i guess it wasn't hard to figure out because the parents of the main female character were gay. ^_^

Hehee, I actually did read it. And I liked it! *shakes fist at you* Don't you dare get me back into "breeder" titles.

And to assuage my need for all that is gay, I just imagined hot dark-haired guy was checking out/interested in cute blond boy.

I'm so pathetic. My bf is both ashamed and amazed at my skill of finding "teh ghey" in anything.

Maybe Kunieda-sensei, too... her shoujo has a lot of bl elements in it.

I've been wanting to check out some of Saika Kunieda's shoujo for a long time, so thank you so much for working on this! ^_^ Her yaoi is so good that I figured her shoujo must be as well--unsurprisingly it was a very interesting story (even for 8 pages)! The art style is rather different than the one she uses now, so I'm guessing the story must be pretty old? <3 <3 <3 to you for all the work you do on Saika's Kunieda's projects!!!!
