Sakai Kunie, The Love Letter
Hello everyone,

Here is another oneshot from Sakai Kunie. This originally appeared in a shoujo magazine in 1991, but I don't think I'd call it shoujo. I've placed this under "other genres" on my user info, but I'm thinking of moving into the shounen-ai category. While I like stories that are not easily classified, it makes organization hard. Anyway, I found this story interesting. You can definitely see Sakai Kunie's interest in BL, even before she started drawing it under a new name.

I guess it's no wonder that it appeared in a shoujo magazine, to think that shonen-ai started as shoujo's sub-genre and all.

I think it's definetly shounen-ai. There aren't any important female aprearences and it's basically about the strange relashionship between the two boys (men). Anyway, thank you :) It's great!
